Great ideas don't always fit neatly within a school budget. That's where NWLEF comes in.
We invest in opportunities that enhance learning, encourage innovation and support students across our district—from an educator's idea for a single classroom to initiatives that reach students across an entire school or district.
More than $2.4 million invested—and counting.

We invest in technology and hands-on learning that gives students opportunities to create, experiment and develop real-world skills.
Examples: Broadcast studios • Robotics • 3D printing • Digital photography • STEM technology

Some of the best ideas start with the educators closest to our students. NWLEF helps teachers turn those ideas into experiences through classroom resources, instructional tools and GROW Grants.
Examples: Flexible learning spaces • Hands-on science • Literacy resources • Math tools • Innovative instruction

Learning extends well beyond core academics. NWLEF supports experiences that expose students to new ideas, creative expression and opportunities they might not otherwise encounter.
Examples: Artist-in-Residence • Music and percussion equipment • Creative programming • Enrichment experiences

Students learn best when they have environments and resources that support the whole student. Our investments extend to physical, social and emotional well-being.
Examples: Social-emotional learning • Sensory spaces • Student wellness • Tigers Den • Competitive/Sports Psychology
Invested in Northwestern Lehigh education
Support across all buildings in our district
Impact reaching every classroom and grade level
From classroom ideas to district-wide initiatives
Big projects. Small classroom ideas. Opportunities students might not otherwise have.
That's where NWLEF comes in.
NWLEF works alongside Northwestern Lehigh educators and district leadership to identify opportunities where Foundation funding can make a meaningful difference.
Our investments generally take three forms:
Great ideas often start in the classroom.
GROW Grants help Northwestern Lehigh educators bring innovative ideas, resources and learning experiences directly to students.

Business support. Student impact.
Pennsylvania's EITC program allows eligible businesses to support innovative educational initiatives for Northwestern Lehigh students while receiving valuable state tax credits.

Making larger ideas possible.
NWLEF partners with district leadership to invest in larger projects, equipment and initiatives that create meaningful learning opportunities across our schools.
Every opportunity starts with a community that believes in its students.
